Members Weekend

Member’s Weekend is a seasonal highlight—a full, all-access weekend—held at the height of summer, when conditions are ideal for enjoying the full breadth of GMHA’s facilities.

Offered over an entire weekend from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Member’s Weekend provides members with broad, flexible access, including:

  • Dressage rings
  • Show jumping course
  • Cross-country course
  • Trails (member loops only, departing from the grounds)
  • Driving permitted (no cones or driving dressage ring available)

An EMT is on site both days, ensuring a safe and well-supported experience.

Members Weekend is ideal for members who want flexibility—whether you’re schooling across disciplines, conditioning, or simply spending extended time enjoying the grounds and facilities.

Trails Open

Enjoy access to GMHA’s trail system for a relaxed day in the saddle with trails open for riding. Note: grounds and rings may have limited or no availability. Ideal for conditioning rides, mileage, and time well spent outdoors.

Horse Health Requirements

GMHA requires a negative Coggins and proof of rabies vaccination within 12 months for each horse that comes on the property.  Rabies titers are accepted within one year of event date and must accompany a note from your veterinarian explaining the reason why the vaccine could not be administered.

Please note that the State of Vermont requires a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection within 30 days or Exhibition Permit from the Vermont Agency of Agriculture’s Animal Health office for any horses entering the state. GMHA does not require these documents with entry, but the VT Agency of Agriculture may enforce these regulations at any time.
