Adult Dressage & Eventing Clinic — Event Details

Experience dressage, show jumping and cross country instruction with world class instructors set against the stunning backdrop of Vermont’s Green Mountains! 

Join us for an immersive and inspiring equestrian expereince featuring dressage, show jumping and cross country at GMHA’s USEA sanctioned cross country courses. This clinic opportunity is designed to support riders and horses at every stage of development, offering thoughtful progressive instruction that emphasizes correct fundaments, instills confidence and supports an effective partnership with your horse.

Those participating in the Dressage clinic, will refine your horse’s skills, improve balance and accuracy and gain confidence should you wish to move up.

Those choosing to participate in the Eventing clinic will enjoy a balanced instructional program that blends flatwork precision, stadium jumping technique and cross country schooling allowing riders to buils skills across disciplines in a supportive environment.

Have a young horse you’re eager to bring along?

This is the perfect opportunity to thoughtfully and confidently continue their education while under the guidance of experienced level instructors; focusing on building a solid foundation within a quiet setting, varried terrain and well maintained facilities along with access to the GMHA trail system.

We are pleased to welcome back the talented dressage clinicians John Zoppati, Adam Lastowka, Diane Ritz and Rebecca Vick. GMHA is also fortunate to once again host Bobby Costello and Tim Bourke bringing their depth of experience in show jumping and cross country jumping.

Unable to commit for the full week?

GMHA members may take advantage and enjoy a special member perk and ride with Bobby Costello in a group show jump lesson or take a private dressage lesson with one of the outstanding dressage clinicians. (NOTE: Available Friday only. Separate fees apply).

Spaces are limited and early registration is encouraged!  Entries open on March 18th. Please carefully read the registration/entry form  & GMHA’s refund and equine health policies when signing up.

Horse Health Requirements

GMHA requires a negative Coggins and proof of current rabies and influenza vaccination for each horse that comes on the property.  Rabies titers are accepted within one year of event date and must accompany a note from your veterinarian explaining the reason why the vaccine could not be administered.

Please note that the State of Vermont requires a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection within 30 days or Exhibition Permit from the Vermont Agency of Agriculture’s Animal Health office for any horses entering the state. GMHA does not require these documents with entry, but the VT Agency of Agriculture may enforce these regulations at any time.
