Stay on the GMHA grounds, just steps away from your horse!
The Ranch House is the perfect place to stay if you love participating in the horse events we offer, love watching the events, or just love visiting the Woodstock area. Overlooking the Upwey Ring and the historic Upwey Barn, each of the units are fully furnished and well-equipped for your stay at GMHA. The large deck makes for a perfect setting to enjoy the end of the day.
Each unit contains:
- A nicely-equipped kitchen
- Dining area
- Living room
- Single beds (5 in 2 BR, 6 in 3 BR)
- Sleeper sofas in living room
- 1.5 bathrooms
- Telephone service (there is no cell service at GMHA)
- Wi-Fi
- Sheets, towels, blankets, and pillows provided

Rates subject to 13% VT Rooms & Meals tax. No additional cleaning fee and housekeeping comes in after your stay. Well behaved housebroken dogs are permitted for no additional fee.
🐾 GMHA Dog Policy: Well behaved dogs are permitted but must be leashed, in-hand and under control, or confined (in a crate or kenneled) at all times, even after the facility has closed for the day. Loose dogs may be impounded, and offenders fined $50 per occurrence.
- Clean up after your dog and dispose of it in one of our many trash receptacles.
- Do not leave your dog unattended in the stable area to become anxious and cause a disturbance.
- Dogs are not allowed on cross-country course on cross-country or marathon days.
- Dogs must remain leashed at all times, even after the facility has closed for the day.
GMHA Season Rates:

Payment Terms: Minimum 50% deposit of two nights’ stay is required at time of booking using either AMEX, VISA, or MasterCard. Balance is required at time of arrival. Credit card bookings may be handled through the GMHA Office. Upon receipt of deposit, a Renter’s Agreement is required to be completed and returned to GMHA prior to final payment.
Cancellation Policy: Full refund, less $50.00 processing fee, will be issued for cancellations, up to two weeks’ notice in advance of stay. All cancellations must be in writing (e-mail acceptable).
Cancellations of less than two weeks’ notice will not be refunded.
