This show has something for everyone. Hunters, Jumpers, Equitation, and Hunter Derbies!
The Area 1 Young Rider Camp is held annually mid-July at GMHA in S. Woodstock, Vermont. This is a three-day, three-night camp where attendees participate in two (2) mounted lessons a day and one (1) unmounted horsemanship session focusing on all phases of Eventing (dressage, XC, & Stadium Jumping).

Distance Days is a 3 day celebration of Competitive Trail Riding (CTR) with a variety of distances & built around the historic GMHA 100-Mile Ride - the oldest and first in the U.S., now in its 90th year.
Wrap up your Area 1 Eventing season at GMHA before you head south for the winter at our USEA/USEF Sanctioned Horse Trials - Beginner Novice through Preliminary levels offered at this event. Register EARLY! This event fills quickly.

Horses brought onto GMHA grounds must comply with health regulations established by the State of Vermont and enforced by the Vermont Agency of Agriculture. Health documents must be submitted to event management prior to unloading. In addition, some competitions, clinics, or activities may be governed by external organizations and additional health requirements may apply. GMHA reserves the right to:

Due to Woodstock Town Ordinances, camping opportunities on the GMHA grounds are limited. We are allowed camping permits for just a few of our events each year, with a limited number of camping spaces.
