Not a USEF/USDF member? That’s ok, we have OPPORTUNITY CLASSES that do not require these memberships to compete at this event! See our Prize List for available classes offered in “yellow” (Intro, Training, & 1st Level offerings). This is a great “opportunity” to attend a recognized show without the pressure of being a USEF or USDF member.

- Saturday – Dressage rides – Intro, Training through Grand Prix, Opportunity & Eventing tests 8am – 5pm
- Musical Freestyles starting around noon.
- Sunday – Dressage rides – Intro, Training through Grand Prix, Opportunity & Eventing tests 8am – 5pm.
Awards Note:
GMHA will hold ribbons & prizes for one week if you have to leave before picking up your awards. Awards/ribbons will not be mailed. Please contact GMHA at (802) 457-1509 to make arrangements for pick up.
Microchip Rule
Key Requirements & Details:
- Effective Date: December 1, 2026.
- Applies To: All horses competing in USEF-licensed or endorsed shows, regardless of discipline, breed, or level (including Intro/Opportunity).
- Chip Type: Must be a 15-digit, ISO 11784/11785 compliant chip.
- Implantation: Done by a veterinarian (as per state laws) into the nuchal ligament in the neck, a quick process.
- Owner Responsibility: You must report the 15-digit microchip number to US Equestrian (USEF) for your horse’s record.
- Verification: Show will check that the chip number is on file with USEF before accepting entries.

Horse Health Requirements
GMHA requires a negative Coggins and proof of current rabies within one year of event dates. Rabies titers are accepted within one year of event dates and must accompany a note from your veterinarian explaining the reason why the vaccine could not be administered. In addition, vaccinations for influenza and rhinopneumonitis (EHV-1 & EHV-4) within six months of event dates are REQUIRED for each horse that comes on the property. These health documents must be submitted to event management prior to unloading.
Please note that the State of Vermont requires a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection within 30 days or Exhibition Permit from the Vermont Agency of Agriculture’s Animal Health office for any horses entering the state. GMHA does not require these documents with entry, but the VT Agency of Agriculture may enforce these regulations at any time.
