Distance Days is a 3 day celebration of Competitive Trail Riding (CTR) with a variety of distances & built around the historic GMHA 100-Mile Ride - the oldest and first in the U.S., now in its 90th year.
Come and enjoy the hunt country surrounding GMHA at the annual Hunter Pace. Hunting & hacking pace offered with teams up to 4. Costumes encouraged!

Horses brought onto GMHA grounds must comply with health regulations established by the State of Vermont and enforced by the Vermont Agency of Agriculture. Health documents must be submitted to event management prior to unloading. In addition, some competitions, clinics, or activities may be governed by external organizations and additional health requirements may apply. GMHA reserves the right to:

The State of Vermont Requires:

Certain events or activities at GMHA may be held under the rules of recognized equestrian governing bodies, including but not limited to the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) or American Driving Society (ADS), among others.

Due to Woodstock Town Ordinances, camping opportunities on the GMHA grounds are limited. We are allowed camping permits for just a few of our events each year, with a limited number of camping spaces.
