Joan Davis has spent her entire life surrounded by horses – first as a trainer and a competitor – and now as a photographer.

A riding accident forced her permanently out of the saddle in 2001. Now Joan spends most weekends from May through September capturing the beauty of dressage and the thrill of eventing through her camera lens.
