12:30pm – Inspection of 100-Mile Horses and all those riding the 40 miles on Friday – White Ring
1:00pm – Arrival & check-in for Pleasure Riders begins – Office
4:00pm – Inspections conclude. Ride Briefing – Youth Center
10:00pm – Stables close – all horses competing on Friday must be stabled at GMHA
Friday, September 1
5:00am – Stables open
5:30am – Coffee and light continental breakfast in Youth Center for all riders & volunteers – served until 9am
6:30am – 100/75/40 Mile horses depart GMHA at two-minute intervals
9:00am- Pleasure Ride Briefing
10:00am – Hold in South Reading opens
1:20pm – Horses begin to return to GMHA, vetting in the White Ring
1:00 – 3:30pm – Lunch available in the Youth Center for Riders & Volunteers –
3:00pm – Inspection of 60 & 35-Mile horses – White Ring
5:00pm- Ride Briefing, 100/60/35 milers- Youth Center
6pm-7pm- Open House and light dinner fare at the Vermont Horse Country Store
10:00pm – Stables close – all horses competing on Saturday except the 15-Milers must be stabled at GMHA
Saturday, September 2
5:00am – Stables open
5:30am – Coffee and light continental breakfast in the Youth Center for all riders & volunteers – served until 9am
6:30am – 100/75/60/35-Mile horses depart GMHA at two-minute intervals
7:00am – 15-Mile Conditioning Distance Ride inspection – White Ring
8:30am- 15-Mile Ride Briefing, Youth Center
9:00am – 15-Mile horses depart GMHA at two-minute intervals
9:00am- Pleasure Ride Briefing
9:30am – Hold in Taftsville for 100/75/60/35 opens
11:00am – 15-Mile horses begin to return to GMHA – vetting in the White Ring
12:30pm – 100/75/60/35-Mile horses begin to return to GMHA – vetting in the White Ring 15-Mile awards (time approx.) – Youth Center
1:00 – 3:30pm – Lunch at the Youth Center for riders & volunteers
4:00pm – Inspection of 25-Mile Riders – White Ring
5:00pm- Ride briefing, 100/60/25 milers- Youth Center
6:00pm- Landowner Appreciation & Distance Days BBQ, Youth Center
10:00pm – Stables close – all horses competing on Sunday must be stabled at GMHA
Sunday, September 3
5:00am – Stables open
5:30am – Coffee and light continental breakfast in Youth Center for riders & volunteers – served until 9am
6:30am – 100/60/25-Mile horses depart at 2 minute intervals
8:00am – Hold for 100/60/25 in West Windsor
9:00am- Pleasure Ride Briefing
11:00am – 100/60/25’s begin to return to GMHA – vetting in White Ring
11:30am – 2:30pm – Rider & volunteer lunch at the Youth Center
4:00pm – Awards Ceremony for Distance Days, horses presented in hand or under saddle. Any changes will be announced if we are ready to do so earlier.
