DESCRIPTION:Hunter Schooling classes on the flat – 9am to lunch: \n\nMorning classes starting at 9am in the White Arena – Fun abounds with horse showing at GMHA’s May Schooling Show!  Classes include lead line\, equitation\, pleasure\, short/long stirrup\, jr/adult\, games\, trail class\, and the always popular Costume Class… something for everyone!\n\nJumper Schooling classes over fences – start after the lunch break: \n\nAfter the lunch break in the Walker Arena – Jumper Schooling Show classes starting with and going up in height from ground poles to 3’9″.\n\nGMHA MEMBERS SAVE!  Non-member fee waived and discount on stabling at this show! \n\nNot a GMHA member?  Pay a $30 non-member fee per horse/rider entry combination.\nBecome a member and save today at www.gmhainc.org under the Join Us/Membership tab.\n\nPost-entries accepted after the closing date: \n\n$30 post-entry fee applies to all entries received after April 24th.\nEntries accepted through day of the event.\n\nVolunteers needed:  Want to be part of the action but not riding?  Volunteer as a ring steward\, gate check\, or score running!  Click the Volunteer link below or reach out to us at (802) 457-1509 for more information.  All our volunteers receive a shift meal\, specialty chocolates\, and credit towards our GMHA Volunteer Rewards Program for year-end recognition in our annual magazine\, annual report\, a special gift for those who volunteer 25 or more hours in a season\, and a chance at earning our “Volunteer Of The Year Award!” \n\nMake it a weekend event and join the CVDA dressage Development Day clinic on Saturday and/or their Schooling Dressage show on Sunday.  GMHA and CVDA events must be entered separately.  Additional details for CVDA Development Day Clinics and Schooling Shows can be found at this link: https://www.cvda.org/cvda-events

SUMMARY:June Horse Trials
DESCRIPTION:Competition #300008\nStart your eventing season in Area 1 at GMHA with our rolling XC course and multiple water crossings!  This horse trials will follow the tradition two-day format with Dressage and SJ on Saturday\, and XC on Sunday (subject to change based on entry numbers). \n\nRegister online through www.EventEntries.com on OPENING DAY as this event is very popular in Area 1 \nT\, N\, BN – USEA Recognized & USEF Endorsed \n\nUSEA Membership required for rider & horse at these levels\n\nP\, M – USEA & USEF Recognized \n\nUSEA Membership required for rider & horse at these levels\nUSEF Membership with current SafeSport required for rider\, owner\, & trainer listed on entry form.  Horse does “not” need to have a USEF membership at these levels.\n\nDivisions offered at each level for Open / Rider / Junior \nPlease note:  USEA & USEF competing membership level is required for the competitor\, trainer\, owner\, and this includes parents signing as trainers for youth competitors under age 18. \nAll horses must be microchipped. \n\nMicrochip Rule\nKey Requirements & Details:\n\n\nEffective Date: December 1\, 2025. \nApplies To: All horses competing in USEF-licensed or endorsed shows\, regardless of discipline\, breed\, or level (including Intro/Opportunity). \nChip Type: Must be a 15-digit\, ISO 11784/11785 compliant chip.\nImplantation: Done by a veterinarian (as per state laws) into the nuchal ligament in the neck\, a quick process. \nOwner Responsibility: You must report the 15-digit microchip number to US Equestrian (USEF) for your horse’s record. \nVerification: Show will check that the chip number is on file with USEF before accepting entries.
