JUMPER SCHOOLING DAY

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 9, 2023

NEW DATE:  FRIDAY, AUGUST 11, 2023

8/2/2023 Update:  We’ve moved the Jumper Schooling Day to Friday, August 11th to be part of our Festival Schooling Weekend that has taken the place of the Festival Aug HT & FEI cancelled event.  Please see our reformatted schedule, prize list, and entry form.  Click on the button below to be directed to the Festival Schooling Weekend for more information and entry details.  Entries close August 4th.

Join us for some fun schooling over fences designed by our Festival of Eventing Show Jump Designer, Chris Barnard.  This is a great opportunity to ride courses you may encounter at sanctioned level horse trials.  Courses will range from Pre-E, E, BN, N, T, M, & P (Intermediate & Adv. upon request if time allows).  Heights start at 2′ and work up to 3’9″.  Eventers, show jumpers, and hunters alike are all welcome!  Pre-entries close Friday, August 4th.  Please note this is a schooling event to allow you to school professionally designed courses only.  No awards will be given.  Sign up for multiple rounds at different heights!  Coggins and proof of Rabies required.

Opens:  June 27th

Closes:  August 4th (post-entries accepted if time allows, please inquire by Wednesday, August 9th)

Horse Health Requirements

GMHA requires a negative Coggins and proof of rabies vaccination within 12 months for each horse that comes on the property.  Rabies titers are accepted within one year of event date and must accompany a note from your veterinarian explaining the reason why the vaccine could not be administered.

Please note that the State of Vermont requires a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection within 30 days or Exhibition Permit from the Vermont Agency of Agriculture’s Animal Health office for any horses entering the state. GMHA does not require these documents with entry, but the VT Agency of Agriculture may enforce these regulations at any time.
