June 2nd-4th will be designated as a Dressage Clinic, and June 4th-6th will be an Eventing Clinic encompassing all three phases of eventing. GMHA’s adult clinics offer participants the opportunity to work with world class clinicians bringing a wide range of experience for riders and horses. These clinics will provide riders wishing to refine and expand their horsemanship skills to gain a deeper understanding of their equine partner while developing techniques on the flat, show jumping, and on cross country.
This year’s clinicians include Tim Bourke, Bobby Costello, Diane Ritz, Rebecca Vick, and John Zopatti.
Spaces are limited and early registration is encouraged! Entries open on January 10, 2025. Please carefully read the registration/entry form and sign up for either the Dressage Clinic or the Eventing Clinic.
Dressage Clinic participants – Arrival and check-in is on Sunday, June 1st after 5 PM. Stabling will not be available prior to this time due to the departure of those riders competing in the recognized GMHA June Horse Trials. Three nights stabling is included in the clinic fee (June 1st-3rd). Member / non-member stabling rates apply for extra stabling.
Eventing Clinic participants – Arrival and check-in is Tuesday June 3rd, after 12 noon. Please note, arenas will not be available for use until Wednesday June 4th following the completion of the Dressage Clinic. Three nights stabling is included in the clinic fee (June 3rd-5th). Member / non-member stabling rates apply for extra stabling.
GMHA reserves the right to cap/close entries if clinic fills before the closing date. This is a very popular event, so get your entries in EARLY!
GMHA requires a negative Coggins and proof of rabies vaccination within 12 months for each horse that comes on the property. Rabies titers are accepted within one year of event date and must accompany a note from your veterinarian explaining the reason why the vaccine could not be administered.
Please note that the State of Vermont requires a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection within 30 days or Exhibition Permit from the Vermont Agency of Agriculture’s Animal Health office for any horses entering the state. GMHA does not require these documents with entry, but the VT Agency of Agriculture may enforce these regulations at any time.
