Hunter/Jumper
Hunter/Jumper shows are exciting events that test the horse and rider's ability to navigate a set course at different heights that can range from 12" to over 4'. Hunter classes are judged on the horse's jumping ability and style, manners, and way of going.
Winners of Jumper classes are chosen based on who jumped the course with the least amount of faults and in the quickest time.

Biosecurity Fact Sheet: Help Keep Our Horses Healthy!
Policy Updates from GMHA
Please note that for the 2013 season GMHA will be requiring a Certificate of Rabies Vaccination within 12 months for all horses entering the grounds. This is in addition to our existing policy requiring proof of negative Coggins test within 12 months for all horses. Both documents should accompany all entries to GMHA events and should travel with the horse to GMHA.
Know the Law, Be Prepared
Vermont Agency of Agriculture GMHA recommends that all riders and drivers review important information from the VAA regarding Vermont State Law on Horse Importation and all should consider obtaining an Exhibition Permit. GMHA has received word that the Vermont Agency of Agriculture will be increasing their enforcement efforts in 2013.
Jumper Derby

A mix of stadium and cross-country jumping for all levels.

Join us for the fifth annual Team Jumper Challenge and Lobster Bake! Teams of 3 or 4 riders compete against the clock for the fastest combined score.

$1000 3'6" Team Jumper Challenge
$800 3' Team Jumper Challenge
$500 2'6" Team Jumper Challenge
Teams of 3 or 4 riders compete against the clock for the fastest combined score! Only one professional per team for 3' and 2'6" division, 3'6" teams may be made up of any three or four riders. Horse and rider combination may only enter at one fence height.
Lobster Bake is open to the public- enjoy a great night of food and equestrian entertainment!

Each class will consist of two rounds, the first a classic, and the second a handy round. Please see our specifications for details!
